Drupalcon 2010 was in San Francisco this year and was bigger than ever. Nearly 3000 attendees this year and I was one of the them. This is the 3rd year in a row I have attened the North American Drupalcon (there is one each spring in NA and one in the fall in Europe).
I spent the first 2 days of the 3 day conference attending developer sessions including:
- Fields in core for Drupal 7
- Views 3 for Developers
- Open Atrium
- and a couple others
The last day was spent more in business sessions and some of the birds of a feather meetings.
Some pretty cool things on the way for Drupal 7.
Besides the techy bits I picked while in SF; it was interesting to see how fast Drupal is growing. I think last 4 Drupalcons (NA) have seen attendence of 60, 400, 1200 and now 3000. Plus Dries' keynote suggested that Drupal now powers just over 1% of the ENTIRE Internet - pretty amazing.
