SpaceNews.com

LiquidCMS had previously developed 4 web sites for SpaceNews Inc (formerly Imaginova of Washington, D.C.). We were approached in June, 2012 to begin work on their main corporate site SpaceNews.com. The site launched in Oct 2012.

Unlike the previous projects with SpaceNews this was migrating a large existing site over to Drupal. The existing site was approximately 20k HTML static pages. These pages were all broken down in to fields and imported (the Drupal way!!).

Canadian Transportation Agency (Intranet)

After the success of our first project with the Canadian Transportation Agency (CTA), doing there external web site in Drupal 6, we were contracted to convert their Intranet site over to Drupal. By this time Drupal 7 had advanced to the point where it was now the Drupal version of choice. Work began in April of 2012 and the site was launched (internally) in August of 2012.

As can be seen from the screenshots, a standard GoC CLF theme was not used as this was not an external GoC web site. Omega was used as the base theme.

On Orbit Watch

Our fouth project for Imaginova (Washington, DC) started in October 2011. OnOrbitWatch.com is a new community website developed for the professionals interested in reading about the most recent news on space situational awareness, as well as sharing thoughts and insights on this strategic topic. This site was formed as a partnership between the space media leader, Space News International and AGI.

MIT - Department of Architecture

In January 2011 we approached Franco Vairani of Squared Design Lab (Los Angeles, CA) regarding getting involved in their project to redo MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

Canadian Transportation Agency

In February of 2011, LiquidCMS won the contract to convert the Canadian Transportation Agency's public site into Drupal. The project plan was to replace their existing proprietary CMS with Drupal 6; while keeping a lot of the functionality of their existing CMS and adding new or improved features and a cleaner CLF2 theme.

The site launched in August as the first GoC Agency site to be completely Drupal based. A partial list of some of the features, design complexities and custom module work includes:
